To improve service reliability, we will be migrating to a new GitLab platform. All data will be preserved throughout the migration, including repositories, commit history, merge requests, issues, wikis, and other project data.
This operation will require a service interruption according to the following schedule:
Monday, June 29 at 16:30: GitLab platform shutdown and start of the migration.
Service is expected to be restored by the end of the day on Tuesday, June 30, subject to the migration proceeding as planned.
During this period, GitLab (code.ill.fr / docker.ill.fr) will be completely unavailable.
/!\ Authentication
The new platform will support authentication exclusively through ILL SSO (Staff or Visitor accounts) or GitHub.
If you have external collaborators currently using a local account on the ILL GitLab platform, please ensure that they can either: authenticate using GitHub (with the same email address as their current ILL GitLab account); or create an ILL SSO account through the User Club.
This is required to ensure uninterrupted access after the migration.
