When auto-indexing the peaks, the FFT indexing provides the Bravais nature of the unit cell (UC) by further applying Gruber and Niggli reduction to get resp. the conventional and primitive unit cell. However, due to the discrete nature of the axes generation on which the FFT is performed, the UC parameters has to be further optimized. Accounting on the Bravais type during that optimization is necessary.
